This is my first attempt at doing the HDR (High Dynamic Range) photo. The picture is from my trip to Korea. I used the Photomatrix Pro for creating the image. If you want to experiment with the HDR photography, use this program, but skip the Photoshop CS3. I tried the HDR function in the photoshop but they didn't work. Go to http://stuckincustoms.com for some amazing HDR images and tutorials.

Back from Korea

June's sister got married, so we went to Korea for a week. All in all, we had a real good time. On the way to Korea, the Air Canada didn't process their order properly, and they forgot to include my vegetarian meal. They had to make something up from what they had. So, this is what they came up with. It's fancy METAL cutlery and business class left over food. Not bad for an airline food.....

We rented an SUV from my uncle while the car's getting fixed. We drove just over 200 km and filled up gas, and it was over $50 for that. No wonder people complain about SUVs polluting the planet. But it's nice to drive something big for a change.

I bought a KVM switch yesterday. However, after I connected the KVM, the CPU/motherboard blew up on our desktop, so KVM became useless. :(

Happy New Year! It's 2008

It's the New Years day. This is what the cat looks like when he gets to go out nowadays. He hates to dress like this, and will do anything to take the gloves off. So he doesn't get to go out much these days.

Stuck at home....

Frozen door handle. At the Forks.
Just before the Christmas break, I had a car accident.  It wasn't my fault, but my car is not drivable, so they had to tow the car away.  So, I'm stuck at home until I get a courtesy car from the dealer. So we're off to walking everywhere this week.

June's Christmas party

Today was June's Christmas staff party day. Indeed, she had friendly bunch of people working at her place. I was worried that they might not have any food for me since I'm a vegetarian, but they had plenty of food for me as well. Today was also the Lighthouse of Hope church's one year anniversary celebration day. We had over 200 people show up for that. It was way more than I was expecting, and I'm very happy about that.

Back into blogging again......

Oh my, it's almost been two years since I did my last blog entry.  I'm back.....
Today was CRI's Christmas party day. We went to a nice restaurant called the Chamberlyn's at the Winnipeg Square.

This is my 500th image at the Shutterstock site.
